Ballroom is a SpyParty map. This map is generally considered the most balanced between spy and sniper, and in its original version was the first map to be introduced. It is a long rectangular room, with floor-to-ceiling windows for two of the walls: a long one facing the sniper's starting position, and a shorter one on the right. The window panes are bordered by columns and muntins, allowing the sniper to block their laser and make it more difficult for the spy to tell what they're looking at. The sniper can view the entire room at once (minus narrow areas obscured by window columns), so unless the sniper is focused on one extreme of the room, the spy will need to rely on distraction or cover to hide their tells. The five conversation circles are arranged in an "M" shape (from the sniper's point of view). Along with the required pads to support the missions, it also includes pads for viewing paintings and looking out the windows.
Mission Specifics Edit
- Bug Ambassador: The Ballroom map is fairly balanced for this mission, providing no special advantages to either player. The bookcases are at back left and back right corners of the room, which can provide good bugging opportunities with the proper occlusion, unless the sniper decides to sacrifice their all-seeing vantage point to focus on that corner.
- Contact Double Agent: The sniper can watch all conversation circles at once. The average contact will allow the sniper to lowlight two or three people.
- Transfer Microfilm: There are two bookcases at opposite ends of the room: a small green one at the sniper's left and a large blue one at the right. Snipers tend to spend most of their time on the long side of the room, making the blue bookcase a little easier to perform an indirect transfer unseen. However, the sniper is able to move to get a very clear view of either bookcase, although it tends to make the other bookcase harder to see.
- Swap Statue: The two statue clusters are at right angles to each other, which can make it hard for the sniper to be able to get a good view of both sets at the same time, especially with the conversation circle blocking the view of the back set. Note that the corner of the alcoves that the statues are located in can block the sniper's view of one of the statues from certain vantage points.

Visiting the middle statue in a group allows the spy to complete all three inspections with a single statue visit.
- Seduce Target: There are many pads quite close together, including five conversation circles, making it fairly easy to get onto the same pad as the seduction target for flirting.
- Purloin Guest List: The sniper's low viewing angle makes it difficult for them to see the guest list, making it more likely that they'll miss the purloin.
- Fingerprint Ambassador: With bookcases and a good number of statues, this map provides many opportunities for the ambassador to leave behind fingerprints.
