The rudeness zone is an area just in front of each character that NPCs try to avoid in their pathing. The existence of the rudeness zone means that NPCs will avoid passing in front of other characters, particularly in a conversation circle. However, an NPC will violate another character's rudeness zone if they can't find a better path to their goal.
